The South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency, repaired seven damaged road points on Jalan RA Kartini, precisely in front of the Lebak Bulus Transmart, Pondok Pinang Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama Sub-district, South Jakarta.

South Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-agency Head, Heru Suwondo said the repair was executed on the road to Lebak Bulus MRT Station. The length and width of the repaired roads varied from 1x1 to 1x3.5 meters.

"We use baby roller grinded asphalt to repair them. It is conducted to follow up on locals' report via CRM application," he expressed, Wednesday (1/11).

He explained it was carried out on Tuesday (1/10) and was done today. Besides the impact of the rain, the damage was also due to the busy traffic of vehicles.

To make the road stronger, his party also made a small water channel on the side of the road to prevent the road from flooding.

"This repair involves seven workers. After it is done, hope the passing vehicles feel safe and comfort," he explained.

Jamal (42), a worker of Pondok Pinang Urban Village PPSU added that the road was seen chipped by heavy rainfall.

"With this repair, we hope motorists feel safe and comfort when they pass," he hoped.
